It’s November 1st, my friends, which means Thanksgiving season is here!!! Now I cannot tell a lie, I do have my sights set on Christmas a bit more than usual this year. Brady is going to really be into the tree, lights, stories, and presents; so I’m beyond excited to begin Christmas traditions with him.
Still, Thanksgiving is such a simple, special holiday focused completely around giving thanks (in addition to stuffing, cranberry sauce, butternut squash, and pumpkin pie)…. 😉 So in my excitement for Christmas, I don’t want to overlook the holiday that has always been my favorite.
Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving pins as of late to give you some inspiration! 🙂
First, let’s talk fashion!
I love how boots and chunky jewelry turn this summer dress into a fall outfit. I own a similar navy blue dress, so I’m thinking I may have to recreate this outfit for an upcoming party we’re attending!
This is another stylish way to transform a summer outfit into an autumn one. I love the blanket scarf and tall boots!
And I could easily recreate this outfit at home, since you all know I love stripes. 😉 I own a scarf and a jean jacket just like this. I love how comfortable – but stylish – it looks.
And don’t forget your fall’ish colored nails!
When it comes to decorating your home or dinner table, white pumpkins are super popular right now. Create an extra special touch by adding a golden accent (whether it be polka dots or stylish writing).
Painted pumpkins, in general, are so pretty, I think. (Fun fact: I’ve never carved or painted a pumpkin before! I know, I know, I need to fix that soon). 🙂
Sparkled pumpkin stems make easy, and adorable, place cards.
A lantern filled with pumpkins, pine cones, and gourds makes for a whimsical centerpiece.
OR go for a walk in the woods and pick up a bunch of pinecones. Add a vase from the dollar store, a candle, and a wooden bowl. Ta dah! Instant centerpiece!
When it comes to food, you can’t beat the original classics! But I love the caramel apple slices that I’ve been seeing on Pinterest as of late… Instead of biting into an entire caramel apple, these slices are much easier – and less messy – to eat. I think they look delicious!
As for food, I’m DEFINITELY a huge fan of boxed stuffing. HA! I love Trader Joe’s version (although I do add craisins for an extra touch of flavor). Soooo yummy!
