I spent Saturday sipping on gingerbread tea, sucking on candy canes, and relaxing in the cozy light of a Christmas tree. My house smells like fresh pine, and there is Peppermint Wonderland icecream in my freezer.

Hmmmm, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, for sure! 🙂

  1. I’ve never had a real tree because of allergies, but yours looks beautiful! Love the pictures! And Peppermint Wonderland ice cream? What is this yumminess treasure? 🙂

  2. Cute mugs! and, haha, I see the kitties like to sleep on top of the couches! The photo of you and Nate could totally be on your Christmas card.

I got a real tree over the weekend too. YAY! It’s the earliest I’ve ever gotten one and I’m loving it. Did you get to decorate yours yet?

Who makes Peppermint Wonderland ice cream?? We’ve been destroying a container of Turkey Hill’s pumpkin pie ice cream lately. Still on the pumpkin kick!

    1. Bahahaha!!!! You are SO observant! Are you sure you didn’t miss your calling to be a detective?? Yes, you are correct, the kitties totally had jut taken a nap on my couch. LOL! (It’s quite obvious in the picture, now that you mention it. But I hadn’t noticed it earlier. Way too funny!).
Edy’s makes the peppermint icecream and it’s super yummy!! You know, our supermarket didn’t cover the pumpkin pie flavors this year, which was really disappointing!

      1. I am weirdly observant. You’re right though, I’m not sure how to put that to good use… except annoying the boys because I seem to notice everything they don’t want me to!

I’m not sure if you can get Turkey Hill brand (it’s out of PA but I know some other states have it) but if other brands sell pumpkin pie ice cream, we should totally have a pumpkin pie ice cream-off to compare brands and pick the best! 🙂

mmm I’ll have to look for that Edy’s flavor. Thanks!

      2. We DO have Turkey Hill brand, but I just haven’t seen pumpkin flavor. Maybe I missed it?? I’m going to the grocery store tonight to check, no lie! Ha, ha. 🙂

      1. I LOVE Elf so much! Ha, ha. That is on my list for this weekend too, and I’ll definitely think about you as I’m putting it into the DVD player. 🙂
